Steve Mason is beatable, we know this now.  Rick Nash does a lot of things right - gracing the cover of a bullshit video game is not one of them.

The Columbus Blue Jackets are on quite a roll after taking their fourth straight victory tonight on the strength of a 4 point performance from Rick Nash, and the team’s new found sense of defense.

Mason had his streak of shutouts snapped at the hand of the Colorado Avalanche, but he remains the hottest goalie in the NHL after he and the Jackets handed the Avs a 6-1 drubbing.  Columbus is a good team, finally starting to show the fingerprints of their painfully defensive minded Paul Bearer lookalike head-coach, Ken Hitchcock .

Anything short of making the playoffs will be a failure for this team.  Nash could be headed on his way out of Columbus following next season, and any shot of the Jackets becoming relevant rests on the twin 6′4″ shoulders of he and Mason.
